more marilyn

I got the back done on Marilyn. I only have 5 rows of the front done so far, but since this yarn isn't worsted it's more chunky, it's going by pretty fast. My boy said he got me a knitting-type surprise and it should be here in the mail any day now, so i'm really excited. We weren't able to afford Christmas presents because we took a trip and it wiped us out financially. It was a great trip though. We went to LA for a gaming convention. And by gaming I mean dungeons and dragons type gaming. Yes, i'm a gamer. But not as hard core as the boy and his friends. But there are a few games that I truly love. One's called killer bunnies and the quest for the magic carrot. It's a chaotic card game in which you are trying to keep your bunnies alive while killing the other players bunnies.
